Happy Thanksgiving...

EVERYONE!!!

B and I ate dinner alone and watched football. We knew the Falcons would feast on the Lions...but hey! The Bronco's got the best of the Cowboys..how awesome was that?? I was feeling good about that!

My next class started Tuesday and I feel pretty intimidated by it. I am just wanting to pass the class and it's going to be a doozie. Most of the people in it are already in the profession and their answers are way advanced for me to make sense of. I'm answering the only way I know how and if my answers are elementary, well so be it...I'm there to learn, right?? So...( heavy sigh) I'll try my best. Thats all I can do. I just hope my team mates understand that I am learning here and it might be more of a uphill climb than other's in the class.
It's the first time that I have wondered if I have bitten off more than I can chew tis time.......yeah, me of all people....go figure....
Wish me luck! Cuz, I'm definitely going to have some long nights here real soon!

and just me...

My monitor came back with no significant changes, I just have to deal with things that come along. Also, no changes in meds, so I am relieved.
Things can now move along as they were before.
I feel so much better since my trip to Cali..so refreshed and feeling new. I am very happy with myself that I closed a couple of doors in my life and now I can move on. I'm concentrating on school heavily and cannot wait to graduate. I know I still have a long way to go, but it will definitely be worth every minute once it is done.
K, when you read this..give me a holler....I want details about this last weekend and Jeremy's party!
I can't wait to see you again in the spring!! I'm sure Jody will have time to come party also!! Woohooooo...licky chickies!! LOL!! **winkwink**

Issues once again....UGHH!!!

Well everything was good until Wednesday night?? I started getting my heart arrhythmia back. Yes, I've been taking my meds, yes, I have been watching myself. So yesterday when I got to work, I called my personal cardiologist and he had me come up stairs immediately for yet another holter monitor. I'm getting tired of this stuff, but what can I do about it?
So, today I took the monitor back because he is on call in the hospital. We dropped it off and he had to run back to the hospital, so he couldn't run the test right then like I had hoped he could. So, I'm waiting to see if he calls later on, or I may just have to wait until Monday morning when I get to work. Either or...not much I can do about it other than change meds, I think. So thats whats new....sosdd!!! LOL!!

We're headed to L.A. tomorrow for my last weekend. We're planning a trip to Venice, The Santa Monica Pier and a couple of other hotspots that K is keeping a secret..who knows what kind of wild things we may encounter!! I'm already looking forward to our Mardi Gras party next year..the question is..is everyone else ready?!?!? LOL!!
I'm sure there will be more pics to come!!
Heyyyyy..next year I'll be thisclose to graduating too!! Who knows..I could be making the move to Cali instead of just visiting!!! ;)

The morning was slow. We all had or still have the sniffles....don't know how we could have possibly got them..LOL
By 10a.m. we were all feeling pretty good, so we went to Knott's Berry Farm for the day. K, Wendy Girl and I had a wonderful time checking out the little shops, going on the rides and enjoying a rather tasteful lunch at the Knott's Hotel. Believe it or not..K FORGOT to take pics of the food!! Can you believe it?
We were joined by a nice older gentleman, named Warren. He accompanied us around the park and introduced us to everyone. He wouldn't let us spend a dollar and bought us all kinds of wonderful gifts. As fast as he appeared , he disappeared. The employees told us that this was his usual thing and to enjoy his hospitality. We never once took advantage of this man, and when I think about it, I think he chose the right girls. Other's would have robbed him blind, no doubt.
The ride home was another thing. Wendy drove and we were lost from the moment we left the park. We all got panicky and tried calling all of our local friends or someone who could possibly help us out, but noone answered their phones. :(
We stopped in a little neighborhood and asked for directions, because it was getting very dark. To make a long story short, we finally made it back to 5 South and were on our way back home.
BTW..for my close friends?? I got my "Licky Chicky shirt!! HAHAHAHAHA!!

Time for some sinus meds and a nice long sleep.
We're suppose to head for the casino, but I am not feeling all that up to par right now for a long night of watching others gamble or sitting in a jacuzzi. I just want to take my Sudafed Sinus Nighttime and go to bed.
