I'm a COLLEGE STUDENT!! YAY FOR ME!!!

I am soooo excited! I got my approval, my financial aid, you name it, I got it!!!
I'm starting my classes next week!!! This is finally taking shape and I cannot wait to get my degree in hand! It's worth it to feel this happy about my life! I know I'll have long nights, frustrating days, and all of my friends out there, PLEASE bear with me, ok??? This just means so much, you have no clue!
On another issue...my computer crash. Thanks to everyone who helped me with my issues. You guys were all very helpful and I'm very thankful that I didn't have a total system melt down and have to use my emergency disc. So hugs to my "IT Techs" out there in cyberspace! I was vulnerable, but you did not lead me astray! (((HUGS))) It meant a lot to get the help from you!! Seriously...a big THANK you..and yes, I guess I owe ya BIG TIME!!! (Muah!)

Good news

I should find out within a couple of days if I am going to be a student once again!! Thats right! I'm finally going to finish my BA degree in Criminal Justice. I'm very excited about it and hope all goes well. I'm awaiting for the email from my enrollment counselor as we speak..so everyone wish me luck out there!!!

B starts school soon and is very excited to go, because of EMILYYYYYYYY.....I did not know of this girl before?? So mom may have to check out the first day of school and see whats up with the little girl who obviously caught my son's eye at the end of the school year earlier this summer. He'll be in 5th grade....time sure does fly. Puberty questions are already flying through the air.....God help me with this, PLEASE!!!!!! LOL!

Changes

Well after the surge in gas prices and the flight fares for not only Cali, but everywhere going sky high, my plans for heading out there in October are cancelled. I've been fighting the idea of cancelling it for about a month now, but kept trying to talk myself into it. I miss my friends something awful, but when it comes right down to it. I just cannot afford a 400 plane ticket and thats just for me....not including B. Hopefully over the first of the year, I can check into it and make plans to come to Cali then, since we know after recent news, Hawaii is cancelled until further notice. Thats ok..whatever is meant to be will be.
I had 3 different occasions to purchase tickets and everytime something happened that prevented me from doing so. I'm taking that as a sign....another time will arise and hopefully B and I will make it then.
In a way I'm releaved, because there were some people I just was not looking forward to seeing after everything that has gone on and I think we need to move on...even friendship is not on my agenda any longer. Being used for when you feel the need to "get together" is just not right and sorry, I'm just not available any longer, nor for anyone else I have recently met. Friendship or even a new relationship is a two way streak, not me finding you online or via the phone and feeling like I have to tow the entire conversation continually. I'm wasting energy that can be used elsewhere.
So..K?? Find me online or you know the number..give me a holler and I'll explain more.

I'm back!!!!! For the moment!!

Hi everyone!!!
This licky chicky has been a little bit busy as of late.
First off, my song changed, because my son loves this tune. He didn't want to ruin his new updated Blog that J made for him..so I told him I'd put it here for his viewing pleasure...the things us parents do for our kids! Sheesh!!!
Second, I've been busy with the dating scene a bit...checking new possible guys. Going to Detroit Tiger Ball games...out to concerts, etc...dinner..you know, the whole song and dance. I told an old friend a few weeks ago, when he told me that he needed to get laid, to do what you have to do..noone wants to be alone forever. At that minute I realized I was holding out for someone who really didn't care about me....atleast not in any future respect, so I walked away from this and started talking to and meeting new people. I've met nice guys and not so nice guys...BS'ers, well 99% of them have been BS'ers, mostly.
THEN...last weekend I went to Montgomery Gentry with a nice guy..and realized my new current favorite song is thier tune called "GONE"...Man, I love it!!! Kinda says what I feel right now. I had fun...but.....well you know..Miss Attitude here!!
Saturday I pulled an all nighter with my bestest friend in the whole wide world, Tina. Geez that was some kinda night...we went out figuring 2 beers and home...WELL...we closed J.R's ( or Greg's Emergency room there at Merriman and Palmer)...andI had the hots for the bouncer(...but former Marine, so I'll PASS!!!!! LOL!!!), then at 0230 we crashed a graduation party of my nephews' g/f's brother and shut that place DOWN!! Needless to say, I dragged my ass in at 0530, then the PHONE RANG!!! Who was it?? Awwww Jason...well well well...I see someone crawled out from under a rock!!! HAHAHAHAAHA. Can we say Goodbye??? Goodddd, I thought you could!! LOL ;)
Did I go to bed?? Well maybe for 2 hrs, before the phone rang again and I had to go pick up my son early from up north!!! So Sleep?? Whats sleep when you drink 3 shots of Cherry vodka/Maui Schnapps/and Redbull mixed??? ( damn, those were great!!) THEN..drink enough beer to start my own brewery, then hit a kegger party with a bunch of 19 yr olds hitting on ya??? Sleep?? WHO IN THE F*CK DOES THAT?!?!?!?!?!! Danggggggggggggg...piece of c-a-k-e!!! LOL!!!
So here it is..a new weekend...I already drank myself stupid last night online...got a bit perturbed at one guy..doubt I'll talk to him again, do I care?? NOPE!!
Got penciled in plans for the weekend, that is if I can find a babysitter. I need to actually TRY, but so far I just want to sit down with Capt. Morgan tonight and gab a bit. LOL...The Old Capt never does me wrong!!!! Unlike other men......
Oh..one last thing..I've got the best date this weekend!!! Sunday! I'm taking my son to see Alan Jackson....I bet this will be by far the BEST concert yet..why?? Not because of the stage act, I can tell you that...however, I AM spending quality time with the best guy I know!!! (((hugs))) to my little boy! I love ya, booger!!
