Only been 2 days. I got my homework done. I have my research paper due, but NO PROB!!

Halloween Party 2005

Quite an eventful weekend...

Friday: I wasn't feeling good at all, so I blew off my class for the most part and watched CSI under a bunch of blankets all night long. Also took Nyquil caps...slept like a baby!! Whew...don't wish this virus on anyone!

Saturday: Got up..felt better and got to work on my DQ's, Essay, Quiz, and even had a fresh view of my research paper. Worked online until around 9 p.m., then took a break and watched a horror flick with my son.
I ended up having vivid nightmares all night from the meds I think.

Sunday: Got up...started on my research paper and realized I was out of my heart meds, so I called it in and went to WalMart to pick them up.
From there the real nightmare began.
My car blew up on the way home and I had to get a tow truck driver. I was in the middle lane and some good samaritan helped me get it into an empty parking lot so I wouldn't get hit. I got it towed to my local auto mechanic that works on my car?? When we pulled in we found that they were closed..I mean forever..Tim had retired. So...we took it to my dad's place because deep down I know they couldn't fix my babycar. My dad agreed and told me to say goodbye to it. So.....13 years of great memories and she was a good little car to me. She hated my ex husband, so she couldn't be all that bad! I should have paid more attention!! LOL!!
So..I figured I would cancel my trip to California. I told my dad this and he asked..the ticket is paid and no refund??? Nope..no refunds, not for blown car engines...so he said after the year you have had; the emergency transfusions, the surgery, etc...you need some down time, so just go, JUST WATCH your EXPENDITURES!!! Well hell..I can do that!
So, Cali friends?? I'm still coming, but I'm going to be broke..guess we'll have to sit at K's and hang out! ;)
Like I planned anything differently? >:)
My dad said he'll look at some cars for me while I am gone and we'll go check on some when I get home...something small and more reliable. We're not going to rush into anything like we did with that God awful van!! So..ladies!!!
5 more days!!! Just a little more conservative than first planned! But thats OK!!!

My university website is going down for maintanance tonight, so I can't get online there anyways...so good excuse to go to that "All Hallow's Eve"party in Royal Oak tonight with Tina! So we're dawning costumes and "going for it". Tina's going to be a pregnant nun??....Anyone knowing me and my "special gift" can quickly deduct as to what I'm going as!!

I received my grade from my first class last night. I got a 92% overall grade! YAY for me! Thats an A- and I am OK with that! My new class is part of my major, so there's lots of reading, discussion questions and a ton of research to do. "Busy" is not the word!!
B is on the school yearbook this year and has lots of things to do for that, so we're pretty busy lately.
My stalker is gone! Finally, but it really wasn't all that bad. I just had to watch what I said on my own blog. You girls over on MCF know all that anyone needs to know in regards to the month end party..for those of you invited, I can't wait to see you..for those of you unable to make it...thats too bad, We're gonna get WASTED!!! LOL!!! The "Licky Chickies" are gonna get CRUNK!!! HAHAHAHAAHAHA!!! 20 days and counting to Halloween Bash 2005!!
I'll post more when I get time!

I saw my cardiologist today and got a clearance to be at the party..LOL

Back to school.

Ahhhhhhhh I checked into my class today and posted my bio like a good little student. There's no backing out now. I have 4 chapters to read and lots of Discussion questions.
Sorry people, but I'll be busy! I'll try to post something once a week, but I will mainly be posting on MCF when I get a free moment.
I'll try for Saturday postings after MICHIGAN WOLVERINE football games.
